Wandsworth Lifter 

This was the scene on Garratt Lane in Earlsfied during the morning rush in October.

The parking enforcement lorry stopped in the middle of the road, blocking all the traffic to remove a car parked in the pay and display bay.

I believe that this was a stupid and dangerous action.
Cars travelling on the same side of the road were forced to drive into oncoming traffic, which were very reluctant to move over because of the bus lane and the risk of a fine - no doubt. 

Is this yet another example of where the opportunity to extort money out of a motorist exists nothing else matters?

Another example of  hypocrisy driven by sheer greed??
