Chelsea's Parking Experts

It was only a matter of time before this  Mercedes parked on a yellow line on the corner of  this side street in Chelsea was going to attract a parking ticket.

But it is difficult to see the sense in clamping a vehicle that is parked so close to a corner, when the sooner it could be moved the better.

Just to prove how committed Kensington and Chelsea's parking 'experts' are to promoting safe and legal parking, the clamping van decided to park right on the corner, but in their case they also completely blocked the dropped kerb which is there to aid access to wheelchair users and mums with prams and pushchairs etc.

My experience when dealing with the parking attendants of this borough has been negative in the extreme.

I am also aware of a number of complaints against this borough over the issuing of parking tickets.
