What has happened to Worthing?

Someone on Worthing Council seems to have decided that there are not enough charity shops in the town, or there are just too many visitors contributing to their economy, so it's time to deter a few.

This car park was FREE until recently.

This car park at the west end of the sea front now has 24 hour, 7 days a week parking controls, with the threat of wheel clamping.

How do you safely secure a pay & display ticket to a motorcycle?
Does the fine collector even care?

Some people may decide to completely avoid Worthing as a matter of principal and in protest, until this car park is returned to its previous status - FREE.

Things just get worse.

The Conservatives recently won control of Worthing.
